Ugnė Mitigailaitė is a young, emerging artist whose creative path is steadily attracting greater recognition within the contemporary art world. Driven by a desire to explore a wide range of artistic approaches, she has quickly positioned herself among a new generation of artists introducing innovative perspectives to both applied and fine arts.

In 2024, Mitigailaitė completed her Bachelor's degree in Applied Art at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA). Reflecting on her studies, she shared: "While at VDA, I engaged with various art forms such as installations, drawing, and painting, often merging these different disciplines. Though stained glass was my area of specialization, my main passion lies in painting—building my own frames, creating canvases, and experimenting with various oil painting techniques and styles." This cross-disciplinary methodology has become a fundamental part of her artistic practice.

Mitigailaitė is continually in search of fresh opportunities to develop her artistry by taking part in workshops, group exhibitions, and festivals. These experiences allow her to consistently hone her skills and deepen her understanding of contemporary forms of artistic expression.

Her first solo exhibition, "Material, Beginning, End," took place in the autumn of 2023. This showcase was distinctive for the harmonious interplay between her paintings and works in glass, revealing her talent for blending multiple media into a cohesive and impactful artistic statement.
