Violeta Bulavienė is an artist moved by the modest aspects and quiet intervals of daily existence. Alongside her artistic endeavors, Violeta Bulavienė possesses a substantial foundation in the field of medicine. She completed her studies at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) in 1983 and went on to practice as a neurologist. Her growth as an artist has been fostered by mentors like Genoveta Milevičienė, lead of the art studio "Saulėtekis," as well as the architect and painter Romualdas Šilinskas. She regards life itself as one of her most valuable instructors.

Bulavienė has been a member of the Union of Folk Artists since 1984 and has taken part in numerous national and solo exhibitions. Her artwork has appeared in Germany, Norway, and at the "Aušra" Museum in Šiauliai, Lithuania. Through her creations, she continually reveals and celebrates the remarkable within the ordinary, inviting viewers to notice beauty in spaces and moments that frequently escape attention.
