Certificate of authenticity

Every painting you buy in our gallery is an original work of art. With every painting we sell you receive a certificate of authenticity, which guarantees that you are buying a work by that specific artist.

Please note that buying a painting does not transfer its copyright — you do not acquire the right to use the artwork commercially, for example to copy it or produce reproductions.

30-day return guarantee

Our main goal is to help you find the one artwork that truly fits and delights you — it is an object that will decorate your home for a long time and will eventually be passed on to future generations.

Although by law works of art cannot be returned (the seller's consent is required), don't worry — if you have doubts within 30 days of the purchase date, contact us: we will take the work back and refund your money, or offer you to choose another one from our art platform!

Delivery

Delivery time: 10–14 business days. Every artwork ships insured by courier (FedEx/DHL) with a tracking number. Originals are one-off pieces and are packed with particular care. If you need the piece sooner, contact us — we can usually find a solution. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties may apply; these are borne by the recipient.

Returns

As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the goods — no reasons needed. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our withdrawal notice (linked in the footer). Beyond that, as a courtesy we accept returns up to 30 days after receipt — an artwork should truly delight you. Contact us and we will find a solution.

Alvydas Venslauskas is a painter recognized for his unwavering commitment to the pursuit of beauty, with women and flowers occupying a prominent place throughout his work. He regards these subjects as the embodiment of beauty and therefore includes them regularly in his paintings. Through his art, Venslauskas seeks to evoke a sense of comfort and relaxation in those who view it, offering a welcoming atmosphere for anyone returning home after a tiring day.

The interplay between humanity and nature is a recurring and almost foundational theme in his creations. This idea manifests in many different ways in his artistic output. His work displays fantastical landscapes, playful trees, floating houses, and women delightedly gathering fruits or berries. The imagery illustrates his imaginative method of depicting life's joy and the harmonious relationship people share with the natural world.

Venslauskas draws inspiration from his numerous travels, exploring far-reaching regions of the world in search of fresh impressions and new concepts. His paintings are characterized by brilliant, warm tonalities that convey a sense of positivity, complemented by his energetic, expressive brushstrokes. He emphasizes impression and overall composition above meticulous detail, concentrating on the mood his artwork imparts. While he holds many artists in high regard who have influenced him, he makes a deliberate effort not to study their works too deeply in order to preserve his distinct artistic character.

The art of Alvydas Venslauskas has garnered admirers both in Lithuania and abroad, attracting collectors from places such as the USA, Russia, and Australia. Since 1985, his exhibitions have taken place in important Lithuanian cities like Kaunas, Vilnius, and Palanga, as well as in private galleries in Germany, France, the USA, and Russia, highlighting the broad appreciation his work has received.
